A Belco billet handling line moving stock into position on the shop floor.

We build the whole line.

From billet heating to the packed pallet, Belco designs, engineers and manufactures custom extrusion and finishing systems — then installs and services them nationwide. Belding, Michigan, since 1959.

What we build

Two divisions, one systems partner — everything designed, engineered and manufactured in-house.

  • A Belco billet handling line moving stock into position.

    Extrusion Systems

Our expertise focuses on extrusion systems for the aluminum industry, supplying furnaces, hot log saws, handling systems, die ovens, age ovens and pullers to name a few.

  • A Belco-built finishing line running the length of a customer plant.

    Finishing Systems

Our expertise focuses on finishing systems for the coatings industry, supplying washers, ovens, paint spray booths and conveyors to name a few. We design and manufacture custom systems for the paint/powder finishing industry.

What it did for them

Every system on this page went into somebody's plant. These three are written up in full — what the customer needed, what we built, and what changed on the line.

  • Extrusions moving along a Belco packing line conveyor.

MMG Extrusions: Automating the Aging Line

A new 2,920-ton press left the rest of the line behind. Belco built three custom age ovens and an automated packing system to match it — and took the manual handling out between them.

  • Water heater tanks hanging on the powder coating line at Bradford White.

Bradford White: A Powder Coating Upgrade

A water heater manufacturer four years into working with Belco came back for a whole new powder coating system at Middleville, engineered around their floor space and their operating cost.

  • A Belco automatic die cleaning tank installed on the plant floor.

    Alexandria: Automatic Die Cleaning

Their old die cleaner had run out of capacity and put operators near caustic splash. The enclosed 1,400-gallon system took nine hours out of the cleaning cycle, and went from order to install in four months.

See it running

The shop, a customer's line, and the people who build both.

Everything we build, in the order it runs

A plant, not a product list. Every machine on these two lines is something Belco designs and builds, and every one of them is a page with the detail, the photography and the spec sheets on it.

In 1959, four co-workers with expertise in paint application and aluminum extrusions decided they wanted to do more than just provide customers with typical products, install them, and walk away.

Today, from our 70,000 plus square foot facility in Belding, Michigan, Belco serves multiple locations nationwide and continues to proudly build not only the most technologically advanced products in the industry, but strong, long-term relationships as well. We're there from start to finish, standing behind our products from the drawing board to the customers' shop floor.
